If you have to phone CRA to request something that is too old, (so before they had things available online for us,) they must snail mail it. Once CRA processes in their system the request to mail to us or a client the item will automatically be available in the “mail” area of the online system. You will still receive the hard copy by mail, but you will be able to get the document immediately.
