Dianna Thorne, Targeted Accounting’s President, is a CPA, Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years of accounting, financial and business management experience in the public sector and in the retail, investment and service industries.
She is an expert in accounting, bookkeeping, forecasts, budgeting, business plans, process redesign, staff development and company start up.
Dianna is a Certified QuickBooks™ Pro Advisor with both Desktop and Online certifications, and has been since the inception of the program.
In addition to her accounting skills, Dianna is an accomplished public speaker who is available to present to association meetings, networking organizations, clubs and groups of entrepreneurs.

Theresa Morley- Senior Consultant
Theresa Morley, CPA, Chartered Accountant, has 25 years experience providing accounting and business advice to small and medium sized clients and not for profits, municipalities and a junior mining company.
Theresa is a Certified QuickBooks™ Pro Advisor and Quickbooks Online Advisor. She is a part time CFO to a number of clients. Prior to working in her own firm and with Targeted Accounting, she worked for nine years in Public Accounting. She started her career in the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche and was a manager in Cape Town office when she transferred to Toronto in 1986 where she re-qualified.
Tiziana Pace – Chief Office Administrator
Tiziana Pace is a seasoned Executive Assistant with over 20 years in the corporate sector. She is experienced in accounting as well as various business plans and systems auditing. Enthusiasm and hard work are the tenets of her work ethic.
Tiziana graduated with a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto. She worked almost two decades supporting the executives at an aerospace company where she was responsible for management organization, scheduling and systems auditing. In addition to her role as an Executive Assistant, Tiziana is also active in her community. Since 2004 she has served on the Board of Directors of the JCD (Toronto Chapter), a non-profit organization that helps to promote sports for youth in the community.

Roger Kemp, Chartered Accountant
Roger Kemp is an English CA with extensive experience implementing and using numerous computerized accounting systems for many years. He has set up and used QuickBooks in different companies for over 10 years. He has worked in several different industries, which together, have given him a broad perspective of how businesses processes can work most efficiently.
Roger is available to assist with systems implementation and set up, establishing budgets and cash flow forecasts, implementing and / or reviewing costing systems, contributing to business plan development and other cost-effective business improvement consulting.
Rebecca Penner, CPA, CGA
Rebecca Penner is a CPA, CGA with nearly twelve years of experience in both public practice and industry accounting. Based in Ontario for seven and a half years as an auditor and general public accountant, she made a move to Alberta in 2014 and worked as a Controller for both a construction company and Canada’s largest hotel developer.
With a passion for helping businesses succeed, she dedicates her time and energy to helping business owners understand their businesses from an accounting standpoint.
Michelle Sautner, CPA, Chartered Accountant – Client Relationship Manager
Michelle is a Certified QuickBooks Advanced Online ProAdvisor and is responsible for on-boarding our clients. She assesses client needs and proposes solutions that include a combination of staff and technology resources to meet individual requirements.
Prior to joining Targeted Accounting, Michelle worked in Public Accounting for over 20 years, providing assurance, accounting, and business advisory services to owner manager businesses, not-for profit organizations and government entities. She delivered solutions to issues affecting her clients, including best practices for financial reporting, internal controls and governance. Furthermore, she has presented on a variety of topics including fraud, risk management, role of the Finance and Audit Committees, internal controls and annual reports at industry conferences.
Deb Hickey, Certified Professional Bookkeeper
Deb Hickey is a Certified Professional Bookkeeper and Tax Consultant who specializes in assisting small business owners with their bookkeeping, tax and management decisions. For over 25 years, Deb has been building relationships with clients in the retail, service, consultant and construction industries, as well as several charities. She is a part time CFO to a number of clients. Deb is available to assist with QuickBooks set up, conversion and/or implementation, establishing budgets, implementing costing systems, staff hiring, management & training and cost-effective business improvement solutions. Having a well-rounded education in Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources and Materials Management, while attaining a 3 year Business Administration diploma, combined with the practical experience of running a family-owned, automotive and rental business has given Deb the unique ability to offer good solutions while understanding the realities and practicality of running a business. She believes it is not enough just to manage the day to day, individual transactions, but the ripple effect must also be considered.
Besides her CPB credentials, she is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, certified in both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. She also has extensive understanding of Ontario payroll, labour standards, WSIB and taxation.
Tommy Massey, CPA, CGA
Tommy Massey is a CPA, CGA with 20 years of experience in public accounting. Tommy has been deeply involved with small businesses and their accounting and bookkeeping needs for 14 of those years. During this time he assisted business owners in arriving at tailored solutions for their specific needs. Tommy graduated from Brock University in 2004 with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Tommy also gives seminars on Financial Literacy to audiences of all ages and sits on the Orienteering Ontario Board of Directors.
